The NMCR regularly organises a display of Microcars at the Classic Motor Show, held in November each year at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
The 2011 Show
For 2011, the NMCR had a stand in Hall 6. It had a good position with three sides open to public view, and we managed to get 7 cars into the space, with room for visitors
to get inbetween and have a really close look.
The seven cars are shown below, with the details that were on the "card" next to each one.
Joining us in Hall 6, on the stands right next to us, were the Heinkel Trojan Club and the Isetta Owners Club.
A big "thank you" to:
■ all who kindly loaned their vehicles and brought them to the NEC,
■ those who manned the stands over the three (long!) show days,
■ Hucknall Van Hire who once again loaned a van to help with moving some of the cars and equipment,
■ all the Microcar clubs who provided us with magazines and literature
and finally to all those microcar fans and others who came to the stand and chatted to us.
